Luxembourg: a bill to transpose the «information-consultation» directive

The government council of September 13th, 2006, approved a bill transposing the directive 2002/14 establishing a general framework for information and consultation of workers in the European Community and changing several labour laws. (Ref 06906)

The government council underlines that the information must take place at a time which allows employees’ representatives to undertake an appropriate exam of the situation and to prepare the consultation properly.
