The international side of the negotiations was important within the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU). Abvakabo and Ver.di negotiators met in 2009 to demonstrate in Düsseldorf. A meeting also took place in Brussels with 30 representatives of Eon’s EWC, which enabled the trade unionists to negotiate in a concerted way.
