Italy/Pension reforms facilitate TIM (former Telecom Italia) restructuring. On 26 February, TIM together with the trade unions SLC-Cgil, Fistel-Cisl, Uilcom, and UGL Telecomunicazioni signed three agreements treating early-retirement, which are part of the framework of understanding concluded in June 2018 with the Labor Ministry, and which intends for 4,500 job lay-offs without making any job redundancies over the upcoming years.
