Chile’s workers get the right to disconnect. Chile’s parliamentarians have adopted an amendment to draft legislation on teleworking that introduces the right to disconnect when remote workers agree to depart from maximum working time periods. In fact the amendment intends that the parties to an employment contract can agree to depart from maximum daily and weekly working time periods (Ed. note: maximum working time is 12 hours per day and 45 hours per week and the labor code intends for remote
