Oxfam forces Coca-Cola to be vigilant about its suppliers

Targeted by a petition signed by 225,000 people launched by Oxfam, the international humanitarian organization, Coca-Cola announced a new “zero tolerance” approach to the human and property rights of the local communities involved in its sugar supply chain. Coca-Cola is the major buyer of sugar in the world, mostly in Brazil, Mexico and India.
