The management of the German aeronautical equipment manufacturer PFW Aerospace (formerly Pfals-Flugzeugwerke) signed, on September 6, 2008, with a special negotiating body, an agreement establishing a European works council. This agreement includes precise clauses on the relations between the council and the national structures as well as the procedure for the re-negotiation of the agreement in the case of a merger. The PFW Aerospace Company (1.507 employees,) a former Airbus subsidiary, which became independent in 1997, is mostly present in Germany, Great Britain (RSM Aerospace), France (Specitubes) and Turkey (PFW HS).
