Robots within the world of work will most certainly destroy 75 million jobs by 2022. However the robot revolution will also create 133 million new jobs. Thus one of the conclusions from the Swiss based World Economic Forum foundation report entitled The Future Of Jobs.
Well known for its annual Davos forum, on 17 September the WEF published a survey report based on questionnaire responses from business leaders employing 15 million workers across twenty countries. In it the report maintains that by 2025 robots will be carrying out more than half (52%) of occupational tasks currently being carried out by humans up from 29% today.
