On 18 May the world leader in energy management and automation solutions together with the European union federation, IndustriAll Europe, signed an agreement with that ‘sets out the minimum shared principles, which may serve as a frame of reference for all of the European entities with the aim of encouraging forward planning in anticipation and development of jobs and their possible impacts on the situation of the employees of the Group.’
A decade ago in 2007 Schneider Group signed one of the first change management agreements (c.f. article No. 070626) that contains commitments over anticipating changes in jobs and competencies, and these have been taken back up and developed in this revised agreement. In a joint statement published by the signatory parties they underline that the agreement looks to:
