Social affairs discussed at the 6th ASEM summit

The summit of the ASEM forum, which meets every two years, took place in Helsinki on September 10th and 11th. Leaders of 38 countries notably discussed the creation of a regular cooperation between Europe and Asia, aimed at reinforcing the social dimension of globalization. (Ref. 06889)
