Spain: more and more companies encourage “corporative voluntary help”

This is a fast-rising concept : "voluntariado corporativo", within the framework of corporate social responsibility. It consists in encouraging employees to take part in social projects. In some cases, this special type of voluntary help is carried out during working hours. (Ref. 06767).

More and more companies are allowing their employees to take a few hours off each week to conduct actions of voluntary help. This is the case, for example, in the savings bank of Navarre, which has a department dedicated to voluntary help and has developed its own program with more than a thousand projects.
