During the strike at the Fuenlabrada factory south of Madrid, the company had made up for production losses in the region by bringing in bottled drinks from outside. The Court have decided that this practice had actually undermined the proper and efficient progress of the consultation period over Coca Cola’s social plan. It have declared that the redundancies were void and have obliged the company to reinstate those employees and compensate them for salary losses.
Right to strike undermined.
