Textile: European social partners discuss restructurings

The European social partners of the textile sector, the ETUF:TCL for trade unions and the Euratex federation for employers, started a series of discussions on the anticipation and the accompaniment of restructurings. Several meetings are envisaged, in various forms. Last in date, on July 3 : a Chinese delegation was received in Brussels. (Ref. 06682)

Exchanges with social partners of developing countries. The textile committee clothing of trade-union federation ETUF:TCL and the employers’ federation of textile, Euratex, started several months ago a series of exchanges on the anticipation of restructurings. Several meetings are scheduled (see our article n° 06638). Last 25 April, social partners organized, in partnership with the Directorate General Employment and Social Affairs, a conference on the good practices as regards reorganizations.
