Labour Courts Act came into force on 25 October 2017. On 25 October 2017, the Labour Courts Act No. 7036 (“Act”) was published in the Official Gazette and officially came into effect. The Act aims to ease the judiciary’s workload and accelerate the judicial process in employment cases.
