United States: for AFL-CIO ‘America First’ has to also mean ‘Good Jobs’

America first, a common objective. Bringing jobs back to the US is indeed a shared goal. One of the points on which Unions agree with Trump is that new trade deals should be in the interests of American workers. The President’s plan is to create 25 million new jobs in the next decade and to return to 4 percent annual economic growth, something which the AFL-CIO supports.
