In an announcement signed by HR head Mandell Crawley, investment bank Morgan Stanley has decided to ban any unvaccinated employee, subcontractor or client from its buildings in New York and the NY metropolitan area. Those involved have until 12 July to comply with the new regulations and employees who refuse will have to work remotely.
Morgan Stanley is making vaccination a condition for entry to it New York office buildings. While employees will now have to declare on an honorary basis whether they have been vaccinated or not, the HR department may later decide to also ask for proof of a Covid-19 vaccination. Mandell Crawley justified the requirement by explaining this was to facilitate returning to the office. Vaccination helps speed up “the process of getting back to normal and strengthening team work,” he said....
