Whikhahn: international framework agreement

With this agreement, the company, which only employs 600 people (400 at the headquarters in Germany), commits to respect the ILO’s international labor standards for all its employees. For the moment, the agreement will concern the 160 employees working at the two other undertakings of the group in Australia and in Spain. However, the company also commits to impose the agreement to its suppliers and partners in South Africa, Japan and Morocco. Accepting the agreement’s clauses is considered as a pre-requisite to start contractual relations with a supplier or a partner. The agreement will be translated into the languages of the different sites where the group is present. A representative will be appointed by the group to follow the agreement.
