As the Emirate is ramping up tourist resources, including a large new Louvre Museum and easing of visitor regulations for Chinese travellers, Abu Dhabi reported a total of 405,849 visitors to hotels in February 2018, a rise of 15% year-on-year. Chinese visitors in particular jumped by 84%. Abu Dhabi aims to attract 6 million hotel guests in 2018, increasing from 4.9 million in 2017.
