In Vietnam, after Temu and Shein missed deadlines (end of November) imposed by the government to register with the Ministry of Commerce, the platforms have been blocked from selling in the country on December 5, 2024. Vietnamese interface is not available on any websites. Temu made inroads in Vietnam last September and Shein in 2022. At this stage, the Ministry has not specified the duration of a suspension, or the measures required by both firms.
