On September 18, the Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, announced a partnership between Aldar Properties and Mubadala in Abu Dhabi. By the end of 2024, the two major property firms owned by the Abu Dhabi government will roll out a joint venture (60% Aldar and 40% Mubadala) grouping together Abu Dhabi’s main shopping centres and shopping streets (including Yas Mall and The Galleria Luxury Collection) worth a total of US$2.45 billion.
