The BNPL specialist Alma (2024 GMV: €2 billion) will launch “by the end of the year a mobile app for consumers, enabling them to pay in instalments with Alma at all merchants, not only our clients”, C.E.O. Louis Chatriot mind Retail. It will include a virtual payment card. Users will be able to complete purchases without leaving the app. If a retailer is not directly partnered with Alma a single-use virtual card will be generated.
