Following an article in the Times stating that Amazon might be interested in a potential takeover of Ocado, shares in the British pure-player, which also has a business as a logistics provider for the robotisation of food warehouses, jumped 32% on June 22. However, the excitement was short-lived, as on June 29th Amazon denied any interest in the British group, whose shares fell by 11% on the day.
