Electronics giant MediaMarktSaturn has adopted a ‘Silicon Valley’ style. “We were viewed as a dinosaur”, said the Chief Innovation Officer at the Tech. conference in London. Earlier this year the German retailer worked with UK start-up MishiPay to launch what it claimed was the first cashier-less electronics store for Europe in Innsbruck, Austria.
