Europe’s biggest sporting goods retailer, Decathlon, raised the competitive bar in 2019 with turnover of €12.4 billion, a rise of 9%. Revenue growth was almost twice as fast as in 2018, reported as up by 5%. At the end of December, the Group operated 2,193 stores excluding franchises.
