In 2017, the Brazilian fashion sector should grow by 7.9% in value (with total sales of US$59 billion) and by 5.5% in volume. Last year, Brazil’s fashion sales decreased by 2.6% in value and by 5.9% in volume. Considering manufacturing indicators, Brazilian production is expected to increase by 3.6% this year in volume following a 1.8% decrease in 2016.
