Following a pilot at more than 500 McDonald’s restaurants in California, Florida and New York, table service increased the number of visitors and the average spending grew from US$5 to US$6, translating into a 5% increase in sales.
Customer satisfaction is also rising sharply, especially for families. Table service will be available for Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., in early 2017.
