Carrefour and Publicis Groupe announced on Tuesday 8th November a joint venture to develop the retail media market for Latin America and Europe.
This combine the platform dedicated to the marketing of retail media advertising called CitrusAd (acquired in 2021 by Publicis) with Carrefour Links, the retail group’s data activation platform. Carrefour will own 51% of the capital of the joint venture, expected to be launched in the first half of 2023. Publicis will hold 49%.
