On April 3, Carrefour renewed an exclusive franchise agreement until 2031 with the Emirati group Majid Al Futtaim (turnover 2024: €8.53 billion, up by 1% in a year, after a rise of 1.1% in 2023). A partner of Carrefour for 30 years, the master franchisee operated 450 Carrefour, Supeco and Myli outlets in 14 countries in Africa and the Middle East at the end of 2024.
