A page is turning at Carrefour. On November 12, 2025 the Brazilian Diniz family (a shareholder since 2014 through its holding Peninsula) sold the 8% stake. At the same time Rodolphe Saadé Chief Executive Officer of the world’s third largest shipping company CMA CGM took a 4% stake in Carrefour (2024 revenue: €87.27 billion up by 5.3% at constant exchange rates).

To remember: The Saadé family is now Carrefour’s second-largest shareholder after the Moulin-Houzé family (9.46%) which also owns Gale
