Since October 11, 2024, French employees aged 61 and over at software POS publisher Cegid (4,400 employees in France) have been able to request that 35 working hours be spread over four days, i.e., 8 hours and 45 minutes a day. The additional weekly rest day may be fixed or variable, depending on the needs of a business.
