On 17 July, Harrods announced the evolution of “The Residence” concept (launched in 2020) with the creation of a private club for ultra-rich customers. The company’s first private club will open at the end of 2023, above the brand’s tea room in the HKRI Taikoo Hui complex in Shanghai.

The service includes a restaurant with Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay, a selection of luxury whiskies, a concierge service, exclusives from partner brands and all the benefits of Harrods’ ‘black tier’...
