Chinese travellers abroad reach a record

For the Lunar New Year holiday started in late January, flight bookings grew by 9.8% year-on-year. Thailand, Japan and Taiwan were the top 3 destinations for Chinese tourists. 66% of the Chinese travellers come from the first-tier cities of Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. Bookings to Europe over this period are up by 68%, with Spain as the 1^st European destination ahead of the U.K. (n°2) and Italy (n°3).
