Clothing and textile markets will remain in the red in 2017

In the five largest European economies of the U.K., Germany, France, Italy and Spain, sales of textile and clothing have ended the year 2016 in a negative trend. In these five combined markets, total sales dropped by 0.9% on average as estimated by the largest textile Federations. In 2016, sales of textile and clothing dropped by 2.5% in Germany, by 1.8% in France and by 1.5% in Italy.
