With a new C.E.O. as turnaround specialist, Stefaan Vansteenkiste, the British department store firm of Debenhams (revenue of US$ 2.3 billion in 2018, a fall of 2.4% from the previous year), opened its 29th department store in the Middle East. This is in the new Mall of Muscat over 3,193 sq.m GLA and features the largest aquarium in the region. This is the 2nd new unit in the month for the department store chain, with the first in the Galleria Al-Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, covering 6,974 sq.m
