In a surprise move without notice, Mathieu Leclercq (aged 49 and son of the founder Michel) has not renewed his contract as President of Decathlon’s Supervisory Board. His re-appointment had to meet an array of requirements from the Mulliez family (called AFM), who are the majority shareholder in Decathlon.
