Whereas many high-end fashion retailers are shrinking in Brazil, the low-cost fashion chain Kiabi (sales of €1.8 billion in 2015 up by 6.7%) confirmed its future foray in the largest economy in Latin America.
During the Mapic, the group revealed plans to set up within Brazilian “malls”, but without details. Kiabi is already active in a Portuguese-speaking market with 4 stores in Portugal, and a total of 463 stores in 14 countries.
