Dixons Carphone (DC.L), the troubled British electricals and mobile phone retailer is on track to make full year profit targets due to sales of new televisions during the soccer World Cup this summer. The Group expect a full 2018-19-year pre-tax profit of US$387 million. “We’ve made good progress in setting a clear long-term direction for the business”, said Chief Executive Alex Baldock, who joined the company in April from Shop Direct.
