Majid Al Futtaim, Carrefour’s franchisor for 30 countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, inaugurated its first standalone supermarket on September 6, 2021.

Housed within its Mall of the Emirates (known for its ski slope), Majid Al Futtaim worked with the Aifi technology provider. The store has a small range of 1,300 items, offering snacks, drinks or sandwiches. To use the store, customers must have an account linked to a bank card in the Carrefour mobile application.
