In Mid-September 2019, Andrea Guerra, Chairman of Italian giant Eataly met in Milan Zhang Jindong, founder and main shareholder of the Chinese retailer Suning. Their discussions could lead to an agreement that would allow Eataly to make inroads in China. For years, Eataly has been looking for a partner in China.
