The Italian high-end food retailer Eataly (turnover of €465 million in 2017 up by 20% year-on-year) is considering creating a possible joint-venture in China with a local partner. According to the C.E.O. Andrea Guerra, a Chinese partner could take a stake in Eataly in the coming months. Mister Guerra also confirmed that the privately-owned firm Eataly plans to list around 30% of its capital in 2019.
