The food and restaurant retailer Eataly (turnover of €465 million in 2017, up by 20% from 2016) confirmed they will be opening in Brussels by 2023. On the Anspach boulevard, near the Stock Exchange, this unit over two areas will cover 1,000 sq.m on the ground floor plus 2,500 sq.m on the first floor. The firm takes over part of a building previously occupied by the Actiris regional employment office. The investment of €25 million in 2018 compares to the sale for €15 million in 2014.
