In November 2017, Aksal Group will open 2nd Moroccan store under the Fnac banner, in the Tangier Ibn Batouta mall (sales area of 560 sq.m). Aksal is both a developer and a master franchisee of many retailers such as Zara, Massimo Dutti and Gap. In Morocco, the 1st Fnac store opened in late 2011 at the Morocco Mall, Casablanca, covering 70,000 sq.m GLA. In early 2017, Fnac made inroads into Congo and Cameroon, via a franchising agreement with Mercure International.
