Continually strengthening management, Russia’s 2nd largest grocer Magnit (sales of €16.5 billion in 2017, a rise of 6% via 16,530 stores) poached Mrs. Olga Naumova as Executive Director, reporting to Mr. Pombukhchan, a new C.E.O. appointed in early 2018. Naumova is the former M.D. of X5’s Pyaterochka chain. This seasoned executive will be responsible for operational management, store formats, purchasing, pricing, marketing, logistics and production of private labels.
