What is the total amount of assets managed by Seventure Partners?

Seventure Partners was founded in 1997 and our portfolio represents €1 billion in net commitments under management as of December 31, 2024. Since our inception, we have supported 300 companies, completed 150 exits and 30 I.P.O.s. We invest in two main areas of activity. These are life sciences (biotechnology, health & digital health, food, sport & wellness) across Europe, Asia and North America, and digital technologies (fintech, retail tech, cybersecurity) mainly in France and Germany. Our investor base includes major industrial leaders in Seventure’s sectors of activity, as well as family offices and founders we supported in the past. Our team has around 40 employees, including 16 investors and 10 venture partners, with offices in Paris, Berlin, London, Geneva and Basel.

In the digital sector, at what stage do you invest and why?

Our team of 5 people works in the early stages, with a focus on Series A, although we have sometimes invested a little earlier or in later stages (Series B or C). We leave the seed phase to business angels and come in to accelerate the potential of a start-up that has already proven itself. We invest between €1 million and €5 million on average. This positioning generates internal debate. Some would like to invest earlier in certain companies, while others say that the POCs are not yet conclusive, that the business model lacks proof… Indeed, all these pitfalls are linked to the seed stage. When you invest €2 million, you need to be sure that the offering has been validated by customers, that the foundation is solid and that the entrepreneurs have found an initial go-to-market strategy with customers who are committed for the long term.
