The unprofitable retailer Hema (which sells fashion, designer homeware products, cosmetics, etc.) is venturing outside Europe with the imminent opening of a store in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Two other Hema stores are expected later in 2018. To meet local regulations, Hema has partnered with the Apparel Group, which runs an array of global brands such as Inglot, LC Waikiki, Aeropostale, Tim Hortons, etc.
