In late June, the home furnishing retailer Maisons du Monde (289 stores, sales of €882 million in 2016, up by 26%)opened a 1st store in the City Centre Mirdif mall in Dubai, via a franchising agreement with Majid Al Futtaim. The retailer sells one range of furniture every year and also two seasonal ranges and generated 20% of revenue online last year.
