Already successful in the U.K., the British luxury confectionery retailer Hotel Chocolat revealed double digit growth in both sales and profits, expecting further international growth. The firm has one goal: to become a global brand like Godiva, bought by Yniz, the Turkish group. Founded in 2003 by Angus Thirlwell and Peter Harris, Hotel Chocolat saw revenues jump 11% year-on-year in the 52 weeks to July 1st, reporting US$151.5 million.
