After the recent openings of “Order and Collection Points” in the U.A.E and Thailand, Ikea accelerates in the E.U with 10 similar units expected in Germany before 2019. Germany’s 1st “pick-up” unit opened in Leipzig in Spring 2015, followed by a 2nd one of 500 sq.m in Ravensburg in January 2016, as finding a site in the Lake Constance area has proved difficult. Next openings are planned near Frankfurt and in Southern Germany.
