Always at the forefront in terms of “drive to store“, Kohl’s department stores (2021 sales of US$19.4 billion up by 22%) are innovating with a new form of “pick-up” for Web orders in their stores. On 10 August 2022, the group announced the deployment of an autonomous “click & collect” system, within the point of sale.

This is a strategic project for the company, whose e-commerce accounted for 30% of sales in Q1 2022 (at the end of April). After 12 months of testing, Kohl’s is now deploying...
