Migros wants “click & collect” in autonomous mode

After investing in the delivery start-up Smood (delivery in less than an hour), the Swiss cooperative Migros (turnover of about €25 billion last year) is rolling out click & collect everywhere, via its PickMup service.

There will be 70 self-service order collection areas by the end of December 2021. They will be located in Migros supermarkets, in partners’ stores and in a network of specialty stores operated by Migros, such as Migroslino tobacconists, Migros Gastro cafeterias, Melectronics...
