In 2023, the number of redundancies increased in the tech sector, with firms like BackMarket and Shopify all affected. Socloz, a French specialist in omnichannel SaaS software platforms for physical retail (M-POS and OMS), made redundancies in the fourth quarter. Out of a total workforce of 50 employees, “9 staff from various departments left through redundancies”, according to a source. This represents 18% of the workforce.
